Level Change - Announcing New Mobile Series for July 2018

level change - Hanging Art Mobile by Mark Leary, Portland Oregon
level change (36" x 16")

level change is the first in a series of raw, unpainted mobile expressions for July 2018.

Not quite maquettes, because they are as they are finished works in themselves, the mobiles in this series explore themes that have been actively emerging in my life over the past months, including flow + story, radical honesty + transparency, change + adaptation, obstacle vs. invitation, intention + relation, and passion + purpose.

As they come into being, these mobiles are teaching me - yet again - the immeasurable value (and reward) that comes from seeking ground in curiosity, flexibility, follow-through, and perhaps most importantly, the beauty that materializes when you open and hold inviolate space for self and other.

It's my honor and pleasure to be able to share these mobiles and some of my thinkings behind them with you over the coming days.

Interested? Each day, I will be offering art enthusiasts an opportunity to own a 1-of-1 edition mobile for sale on Etsy, first come, first spun. 25% of the profits from the series will go to Write Around Portland, one of my favorite organizations here in Portland.
