On flying

The little bird looked down at his mom:
“It says ‘Danger! Do not stand on top step. What am I supposed to do?!”
Looking up from her knitting, all his mom said was: “If you don’t try, you can’t fly.”
Leaping then, you could hear his laughter on the wind.
